Really worried about this...

I just wanted to set my mind at rest about this, because it is causing me sleepless nights. In my application, I don’t think there is anythinig which will damage my chances per se, except this: our school, eleventh grade onwards, follows a really tough curriculum, and so my absolute marks, which are on my report card I sent to P’Ton aren’t much… in fact, they are all in the seventies. However, since it was the same for everyone, my rank, which I believe is the most important thing, remained decent (4/37).

Now my friends tell me that P’Ton are aware of this too, and they don’t take your absolute marks into consideration- only your relative position in class and your grades. I just wanted to check if this is true, cause if not, my chances look dead and buried.

it is true that pton is aware of the low absolute marks for internal and prelims exams in India. I was in a similar situation as you (except my internal marks were worse than yours) but it didnt hurt me.

concentrate on your essay and u’ll be fine
