<p>I’m a Singaporean citizen and have to do 2 years of military service before entering university. I applied my dream Stanford for Computer Science this year (my senior year), but got denied. I have just begin writing applications for the iPhone, and plan to gain some recognition in this market in the following months. If I were to reapply again to Stanford next year, with more impressive SAT scores and my added experience in application programming, amongst other improvements, will my chances change?</p>
<p>Also, I’m considering attending a Stanford summer program this summer. Does anybody know if this helps with admission? Also, the course is minimum 8 weeks long. Anyone know if they offer a shorter course?</p>
