Reasonably priced quality sectional sofa -- any recommendations?

This is the store I mentioned earlier http://www.thedump.com/Store_Locator.asp?location=atlanta</a> Ooh wait- they have terrible reviews!! I’ve never purchased anything from them and after reading tes reviews, never will!!

^^^D2 purchased a mattress/box spring from them recently. It was a good price for the product. However, I thought their furniture apart from mattresses was not inexpensive. D2 was looking for more budget friendly and couldn’t really afford their stuff. Additionally, she has a fairly contemporary sensibility and most of the stuff we saw was pretty traditional.

Luckily we didn’t encounter any service problems, which I’ve since read in reviews are numerous.

I would have a hard time buying anything at a store called “The Dump” !

OK, this may sound crazy, but we recently purchased 2 regular sofas from Big Lots for under $600. They are 5 months old and are wonderfully comfortable, easy to clean, and so far holding up very well with heavy use (including 2 dogs). I NEVER go in Big Lots, but was there to find some outdoor cushions and happened to see these. They carry overstock from manufacturers including a number of sectionals for well under $1000. Someone I work with made fun of me, then went to look and ended up buying a sectional that they are in love with. You might at least look if you have one near you. So far, I am more than happy with the looks and the quality.

When D2 was looking for a mattress, I said, “Oh, let’s check at The Dump. They have mattresses there, too.” She got upset and said she wouldn’t consider getting her mattress from a dump. lol

The love seat in our living room was on sale at Big Lots. It was $250. But no delivery.

You could get a sectional there but it would not include delivery.

I was wondering when someone would mention Big Lots. The furniture looks more than fine and they usually will be able to arrange delivery for an additional charge. Most of the stores contract out with a local delivery service. In other words, they’ll refer you to a guy with a truck who could use some extra cash.

I was looking to furnish a new office with sofa and love seat. A local furniture store , with 5? stores in FL, beat the price and quality of Room to go, Macy’s, and 2 other stores. For 2000, I’m getting real leather, not bonded, in my choice of color and style. I sent pictures to a friend, who brought her daughter into the same store, different location, and purchased from same grouping. It pays to shop around, and look for the sales.

http://www.biglots.com/c/furniture/living-room/living-room-sectionals</a></p>

Check this out. Several sectionals for under $1000.

My daughter told me she is planning to buy something from IKEA because she is too busy working and doesn’t want to spend what little free time she has looking at sofas. I am sure whatever she gets will be fine and better than not having anything. Thank you for all of your suggestions!

I got my monthly BJs flyer and they had a sectional in it that included free delivery. Check their website. You don’t have to be a member to order.
