Reasons to go to BU

<p>My friend originally got waitlisted at Geneseo and was crushed, because it was her first choice. She then got into BU, which was completely unexpected and she hadn’t even considered as a possibility. She was all set to go to BU…but then got into Geneseo. She loves BU and wants to go, except it is twice as expensive. Her parents told her to go wherever she feels most comfortable, but she needs good reasons to attend BU so that she feels the money will be worth it. </p>

<p>She’s interested in business and political science, and possibly wants to be a lawyer. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>I’d choose Geneseo. Faculty recommendations would be an asset for law school - how would the BU faculty ever get to know your friend from the other 30,000-something faces who come and go?</p>
