I have been wanting to transfer since my senior year of high school when I first got my rejection. I ended up going to a school which was the “safe/backup” and did not really start enjoying it until this current semester. The student body is not that great, I don’t really like the environment, and the academics are competitive, but still enjoyable. I still found a way to make it work at this school, to enjoy it and let myself be happy, but I am not sure what to write in my transfer essay besides the ones mentioned above. Also, the major I want is ranked extremely high at UofM, while at my current school, it is extremely low, but I DO NOT want to go there due to prestige, I want to make this essay very personal. Any suggestions?

google search the class schedule and talk about a few courses you want to take. Likewise for a club or two you want to join.
