rebranding universities

it seems to me that a lot of universities like to rebrand themselves to get away from either the Univ of ____ @ ______ naming system of the directional word system. They seek a unique and easily recognized identity that adds power to the institution’s name.

What are some universities you’d like to rename. Mind might include:

UIC: Lincoln University
UWM: Wisconsin State University
UCF: University of Orlando
UTEP: Johnson University
UNLV: Nevada State University
SUNY Stony Brook: Empire-York University (gives state wide appeal)
University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign: University of Illinois
University of Wisconsin, Madison: University of Wisconsin
Indiana University Bloomington: Indiana University
University of California, Berkeley: University of California
(not the University of Missouri had changed its name to the University of Missouri-Columbia and then changed back to the Unversity of Missouri to reflect state wide image)

I believe it appeared in a Star Trek book I read; UC-Berkeley was named in that book Berkeley University.

I know that one of the Texan public schools should be called Bush U. Don’t know which one should, though.
