rec advice

Which should I choose?
1.) sophomore year math teacher whoes also my speech/debate teacher for four years.
2.) junior year math teacher whoes also my math team advisor for four years

my sophomore year teacher likes/ knows me a bit better than my junior year teacher, but I probably talked to my junior year teacher more this year.

I like them both equally, just that my junior year teacher probably have seen so many bright young math geniuses that I don’t really stand out. I love math, but I’m not AIME level.

should I ask both and send different recs to different schools (kind of inconsiderate of me…i know…)? please answer question anyway.

thank you

being a speech/debater as well (and if you’ve ever done policy)
i say perm: do both

I think the recs would also depend on your major too. If you’re more into math/sciences send your junior year math teacher. If you want to illustrate your speech and debate skills more, then do your soph year teacher.

well the thing is I got a rather small school and my school’s math and speech teams aren’t fantastically good, not many of our members (including me) have made it to states. does that matter?

Ask whoever you think would write a better recommendation. It’s so simple.
