<p>I was wondering does Government and U.S. History count as two difference academic areas, or are they the same (social studies)?</p>
<p>Hm… I would say different, because history is history and government is poli sci. But I’m not an expert.</p>
<p>I don’t think they are THAT strict, as long as you don’t have two from chemistry, for example. I know people who have submitted physics and computer science, though both are technically science.
I think you should ask the admissions office, but it shouldn’t be a huge deal.</p>
