deep breath

I love how the common app does us the service of inserting our vital info (name, address, shoe size, etc) into all the forms. My professors agree to write rec letter and, thankfully, all I really need to do is print them out from the common app’s page.

Unfortunately, not all programs are this helpful. In fact, more than a few colleges have pdf forms that CAN’T be directly modified (I don’t have acrobat). This means, I need to figure out a way to insert text into different fields. The only solution I’ve found so far - that’s free, mind you - is to copy a pdf into word and insert text boxes. Unfortunately, it changes the appearance of the forms!

I want everything to look as clean as possible. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be great!

THANK YOU!
