Do any of you know how GWU looks at your GPA? Do they recalculate the GPA, if so, how?
Or do they only look at your unweighted or weighted GPA as reported by your school?
Thanks and sorry if this has already been answered, but I didn’t find any information on it!

From what I remember during an info session over a year ago, they do not recalculate and consider it as is with your course load.

Thanks!
If you wouldn’t mind, do you think I should even bother applying with my GPA? Due to freshman and sophomore year, my cumulative unweighted GPA is a 2.8, weighted it’s a 3.7… it may be slightly higher come June, but not by much. I’ve managed a 3.7 unweighted junior year, but my cumulative is terrible as you can see.

I’d apply, worst thing that happens is you lose $60 and get a “no.” Work on pushing your sats above 2100 or act above 31 to be more viable with that gpa. (thinking is if you’re below 25th percentile gpa wise you should be above 75th percentile standardized test wise)
