Recalculation of HS GPA.. College park

<p>Please correct me if I’m mistaken… </p>

<p>UMD CP recalculates HS GPA on a weighted scale. So a A in Honors/AP is a 5 and a B is a 4…etc</p>

<p>If I apply priority. . And my transcript has my senior year 1st quarter grades… do they use my 1st quarter grades as they would the other years?</p>

<p>I don’t know if they recalculate, but they do look at weighted grades. So if your school doesn’t weight, for example, they might not add the weight, but if your schools sends weighted grades, they will use them.</p>
