<p>Hello, I am currently intending to apply to engineering this fall. Although I found no written rule of it on their website, I presume they want a math/science teacher to write your recommendation letter if you apply to engineering. I asked my former chem teacher with which I had a good relationship but due to health reasons she won’t be able to this year. Nonetheless, I still have a recc letter from an APUSH teacher that knows me well. I would like to ask if it is absolutely necessary to have your recc letter from a math/science teacher if applying to engineering, because if not I may just use the letter I have rather than ask another teacher for a letter. </p>
