Receipt of application at Princeton's Graduate School

Hello everyone,

Does anybody know from his or her experience how long it takes for the online application of Princeton’s Office of Graduate Admissions to display the receipt of application materials (CV, writing sample, unofficial transcripts) and standardized test scores?

I applied on September, 27 for the 2012 Fall Semester (the deadline is mid-December) and still cannot see whether all parts of my application have been received by the Graduate admissions Office or not.

Their website seems to me rather strange. For example, you cannot uploade only a CV and save and exit, instead you have to upload all the application materials at once. Otherwise, you are not allowed to proceed to the next page.

They’ll notify you if you’re missing materials (at least I assume so, I wasn’t actually missing anything). If I remember correctly, there’s someplace to check your application status and it should tell you when things were received. I don’t know how long it takes them to process the materials but if it gets to Decemeber and it still isn’t updated, you might want to check with them. At worst, you can call the admissions office and see what they tell you.

Thank you, YanksDolphins. I hope they will let me know in advance if any part of the application is missing. Anyway, if it gets too close to the deadline and no information is displayed, I will touch base with them promptly.
