<p>So I got an email yesterday from a person at CMU with a Reduced Income Form attached, and it said to fill that out and return it to the university. This is a pretty weird time to be requesting financial aid information, as the decision is only in a couple of days. Has anybody else gotten this?</p>
<p>I just got the same thing, but in the mail. It was postmarked the 24th, I received it today - the 26th.</p>

<p>It has to do with the special circumstances section of the CSS. If you filled it out, they want you to fill out the details in the form.</p>

<p>I don’t remember putting anything in the special circumstances box about income reduction, though…my mom’s income did drop a fair amount, about 10%, between 2010 and 2011, but that was just because she didn’t work as much overtime. So there’s really no special reason for the reduced income that would warrant a “special circumstance.”</p>
