I actually fail to comprehend such a heavy-handed approach to thread titling, and I actually understand the phenomenon of forums – and the democratic spirit that is supposed to underpin them.
This site is only as free as the advertisers make it. However, without an actual community, which is within moderated RULES, free to title a thread or converse any way it wishes, said advertisers would be “winking in the dark.”
So I think it’s a bit of a slippery slope to start editing titles. I think CC needs to be mindful of where it came from – the people
