At the risk of being the only voice for this view, I find the uniformity of the titles of threads to be a welcome improvement. I had even asked on “my” thread how others found it, because it was always so difficult for me to “see” it. The only response I received was to subscribe to the thread. But I saw that as adding additional steps to the process.
Now I’m learning that many of you were looking for that one unique word in the title. I guess my problem was, I was always looking for a number, and that number was used in several other thread titles as well. I don’t believe “my” thread had a unique word in the title, so that contributed to making it difficult to see, at least for me.
On my last visit to the 20xx sub-forum, I was aware of how relieved I was to easily spot"my" thread quickly. I didn’t realize it had been causing that much stress before!
