<p>Recently, I’ve been falling behind in my math coarse due to personal matters, and decided that I needed to drop the class entirely and start over fresh next quarter. However, I missed the deadline for withdrawl, so I went to speak with my teacher who told me that she could give me a “Y” on my transcript, which wouldn’t affect my GPA and would enable me to take the class over again.
But what does recieving a “Y” mean? A friend and I joke that it must mean “yearning” to pass lol.
Does anyone have an idea?</p>
