<p>Yes, any class that is “linked” to a recitation section, lab, discussion section requires you also select that part too. Otherwise you won’t be able to register for the course properly.</p>

<p>Oh ok I guess I don’t have too since I can register for Calc 1231 without the recitation.</p>

<p>You must have registered for a section of MATH 1231 that doesn’t have a “linked” recitation. That’s OK.</p>
