Recognition?

Congratulations to the newly minted midshipmen 4/c. It is an exciting day, only to be beat by graduation. Enjoy the things you are allowed to have, but remember to complete your duties and keep the bathrooms clean!!! Nothing worse as an upperclass to have recognition occur and the bathrooms go to s**t :)

I’d look for the cell phone calls to begin shortly (after they pick the mud out of their ears). Post those photos Midshipmen!!

I am so stinkin’ happy for them!

Way to go '10

Congratulations class of 2010! Your parents and families are so proud! What a great way to bust out of the winter blues. Best wishes to all you have worked hard, enjoy the night! some photos would be nice. (does that sound like a mom or what?)

Jamzmom, if Regimental time began at 3:50 EST, what is your best estimate on completion of Recognition? I have heard of estimates of 2 hrs etc, but there may not be that much daylight in NY this time of year.

I forgot:D    we are happy happy happy

MMA Insider- Source said its a done deal. So anyone wanting to go back to being a Plebe… TOO LATE. LOL I would expect that the halls are insane at the moment & the showers are a pretty ugly scene. :D

Congrats ya’ll. Feels pretty good to say you have a Mid.

Yeah…Jamzmom…your silence was a dead give-away!! I wondered where you had gone!

Jazzmom how do you know this info?

Awesome!!! Just beat the ice storm too!

These kids must look and feel like popsicles…I’m sitting by the phone!

juliemrn, WAS NOT! LOL I just hid out the entire week-end to protect myself cause I can never shut up. :)

Seriously I can’t name my source. I promise its not a Mid though.

No worries…I had heard rumors, strong rumors yesterday, but cautioned my plebe to not get her hopes up, which she readily agreed to…but I kept checking the message board this morning, and it was TOO quiet for something not to be up! You did a great job Jamzmom! Kudos to you for keeping the silence…not an easy task for any Mom!

Who’s got the pictures? Way to go 2010!

Yeah, I want the pictures! I can’t take it anymore! I wanna see the mess, see if I can pick out my son, kinda like indoc, huh?

just heard from our son, we are all very happy and relieved. Swimmers did not get to participate, coach made them stay at the pool. What a great accomplishment 2010.

No mud!?!? Too cold!?!?!? LOL The mud made for great photos last year. So what now? Do we get to see a bunch of greased up monkeys from the crisco? :D

tis a sad thing, eric is on crutches… be praying he’s healed for the national qualifiers this weekend. he’s the man. when we saw that he was hurt out deck decided that we’re all doomed to die a very slow painful death.

Heard they had to pull a vehicle up the hill and that there are plenty of photos and a few videos that will be posted soon…more to follow!

i have a flash drive full of videos on my desk, i’ll try and post some of them soon
