Do you know what your UC GPA is? It may bring your unweighted GPA up or down.

Your chances aren’t bad at all. Berkeley and UCLA, not so much, but you look good for UCSB and UCSD. Maybe try Davis or Irvine as well. Your SAT is great- UCSD will love that. CS is an insanely impacted major right now, though. I would not recommend attempting to go down that road unless you’re absolutely in love with it.

All UC’s except UCLA/UCB use capped weighted so your UC GPA would be around 3.9-4.0. You have great test scores but GPA is king with UC’s especially if you are targeting UCSD’s CS program. Make sure you select a non-capped major as an alternate. CS at top schools is definitely guaranteed.

Freshman admit rates (2016) for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:

UCB: 14%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 44%
UCSB: 54%
UCD: 58%
UCI: 65%
UCSC: 85%
UCR: 94%
UCM: 96%
