Right now, I’m really interested in Syracuse University, I’m looking for schools similar to it.
I’d prefer schools in sub-urban or urban areas with good academics and social scenes.

Thanks in advance.

Bumpity bump bump

What is your financial situation?

My parents make ~60,000 dollars a year.

So have you or your parents run the net price calculator for Syracuse? Can you afford the amount they would have you pay, and are you okay with any loans the calculator indicates you would be taking?

Maybe American University in DC.

You will need to look for a safety school or two you know you can get into and you know you will be able to afford, so have you looked at your in-state public options in Texas?

In state, you have Trinity University plus of course UT Austin.
Dickinson is well-known for languages and their Russian program is quite good:
[Dickinson College - Russian](Russian | Dickinson College)
Not suburban though near Harrisburg, about 2-3 hours from Philadelphia.
Check out Goucher (suburban), Beloit, Hobart&William Smith, St Olaf (suburban), Saint Louis University (urban), Wheaton (MA, in a town near Boston)

@intp parent My SAT scores qualify me for automatic admission at a lot of Texas schools so I just need to pick a financial safety out of that list.

@MYOS1634 thanks for the suggestions!

Any more suggestions?
