Recommendation Conundrum

A science/math teacher? Hip, got one in mind.

An English/Social Studies teacher? Uhh…
You see, my freshmen and sophomore English teachers, who knew me well, have both moved away. The same goes for the history teacher who knew me the best. All I am really left with is my current English teacher, whose feelings towards me I am not sure of.

Let’s say I ask this current teacher for a recommendation, could I perhaps “make up” for her with a stellar, supplemental recommendation from my Latin teacher?

Either that, or see if you can get in touch with sophomore year English teacher. Ask your guidance counselor if he or she has an e-mail address on file with your school.

Erm, I should have said this, but…

Frosh English teacher didn’t know me well, and she now lives in Chicago (Ironic?)
Sophomore English teacher is dying from leukemia…

So junior year English and latin sup. Easy enough, I think.
