Recommendation for primary care medical attention in Boston?

Boston ccers you have been great I’m the past and I’m asking for help again. DS is a college grad living and working in Boston. Has decent health insurance through his work. He doesn’t have a doc now and would like to choose one. He lives in East Boston but works near the courthouse so a doc in the city and not the burbs would be best. He has no car T pass only. If anyone has a recommendation I’d be grateful. You can PM me if you prefer.

Tufts Medical Center and the Courthouse are both on the silver line. Might be a good place to start.

Would love the same information. Grad student lives near Back Bay. Also, is there an urgent care center? That could be a back up for the strep throat type illnesses before a primary can be found. Thanks.

Bluejay I found some good information on yelp. Harvard vanguard group in the back by got several good reviews.

I can’t suggest a primary car doc on the T, but will tell you that he needs to start looking right away. I needed to find a new primary care doc last year and it took me about 17 calls to various offices before I could find one taking new patients. everyone is required to have insurance in MA now and many require a primary care doc, a lot of offices are not taking new patients. I am pretty sure there is a health center in East Boston affilicated with Boston Medical Center. It has a rep as being the hospital for free care in Boston, and many avoid it, but my daughter and Mother got exceptional care there.
