Recommendation letter from outside adult

<p>The Common App limits me to the college’s standard requirements – for University of Rhode Island, it will only allow me to select one teacher. However, for the pharmacy program, on the website it states you must have two letters. Do I just send the other one in by mail?</p>

<p>Also, is it possible to list an adult (a non profit director, not teacher or counselor) for a recommendation on the Common App? Or must this letter be sent by mail or through my colleges’ website?</p>

<p>In the common app it lets you add one more teacher apart from the counselor you have to click on the assign new teacher button under the counselor box and there you go! (Make sure to save) </p>

we require a minimum of two letters: one from a science or math teacher and one from a guidance counselor or a teacher from another subject area

<p>According to the university you are only allowed to send them a recommendation from a teacher or counselor.</p>
