Recommendation letters not from teachers

So I am applying ED and someone I have worked with agreed to write me a recommendation. My school is on the common application, and in terms of reference I could only find the teacher recommendation forms.

What should I have this person do? Should they just write a simple letter and mail it to the office, do the teacher form, or is there something I am missing?

Thanks… I’m really confused about this

Does anyone know the answer to this?

My counselor told me to let my professor write the recommendation and just mail it via normal mail to the admissions office. They keep a file for you I’m pretty sure, so as long as the letter has your name on it, they should receive it.

Yes, just make sure the LOR has your name on it the same way it’s on your application. If a college has given you a identification number, that would also be helpful; and if you have a common name, birth date would also be good.
