Recommendation of courses at Cornell for CS master?

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I am a newly admitted Master of Engineering student in CS, and my background wasn’t CS but ECE and applied math. Would you please recommend some courses, such as

  • courses that are very difficult to get A?
  • courses that are very tough?
  • courses that are useful for pursuing a career in machine learning, data science, etc?
  • courses that are outside CS, such in statistics, ORIE and other departments?
  • courses that you feel particular useful or some other reason?

<p>Although I am admitted as a master there, experiences from undergraduates at Cornell will help too, since the courses mentioned in the master program can also be chosen by undergraduates.
