I’m going to major Kinesiology and Exercise Science at college and I’m looking for brilliant ECs related to this area.
I love weight training and I feel most joyful when I teach someone about training.
I love track and field also. So, can you guys think of any good ideas??
I did intership in public hospital under sports prescriptionist for 70hr. It was cool.
I was thinking about going to orphanage and train with little kids but i’m not sure It would work.

Cool stuff. I’m interested in similar things and my cousin just graduated from Flagler with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management.

Some ideas:

Get a summer job/volunteer job working at a so-called “fat camp” - that involves all aspects of fitness, from nutritional science to exercise

Volunteer to help an elementary physical education teacher

Coach a community recreation team in the sport of your choice (leadership! yay!)

AmeriCorps - if you’re old enough you can do an AmeriCorps program related to fitness and at-risk children; you can also earn up to $4,700 for school! (You have to be at least 17.)

Coaching, refereeing for youth, volunteer to be a manager for a team at either your high school or a local CC, start an after-school fitness program for elementary school kids who are in after school day care at the elementary school, fitness club at your high school.
