So how much weight does the requested recommendation from Berkeley really hold? I’m only able to add one teacher to mu list because of technical difficulties (which I’ve contacted Berkeley about), but if that teacher does not turn in the rec on time, will I still be ok?
I don’t think anyone really knows yet since it’s pretty much completely new. I don’t think it’s really that important at any school though, so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
In the request they said the letter was optional so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
