I am looking to purchase a new king sized down duvet filler. I have read many reviews online and cannot find any with primarily positive reviews. I have checked major department stores and linen/bedding specialty websites and most have some negative reviews about the feathers coming out, which is the problem with my old filler. I would really like down rather than a down alternative. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations.
We have a Macy’s Charter Club down comforter, and I have not seen a single feather poking through. It is very substantial yet lightweight.
We always got bed bath and beyond , with the 3 season one, works well. Also used a coupon.
Cuddledown has very nice down filled comforters.
Cuddledown is great.
I was very surprised to find that IKEA has some of the best down fillers. They have varying TOG (?) grading for the different climates / seasons
I have one from LL Bean and am happy with it
We have a Macy’s down duvet that we received 29 years ago and is still going strong, but all of the other 4 we have are from The Company Store. I love the ones from there. They have a nice selection of different fill levels. I just checked the website and they are having a big sale now-20% off and free shipping.
I’m not exactly sure what you’re talking about, but our down comforters from Costco have worked very well. I have duvet covers, but nobody in The house except me wanted to use them…
IKEA’s are awesome and significantly cheaper than the rest.
We have multiple Macy’s Charter Club down comforters of various weights and sizes and I have been happy with all of them. Most of them are 10+ years old.
