<p>When they say they want recs from diff. academic subjects…do they mean subject areas? or the subjects themselves? what if I have really good recs from chem and bio teacher…are they counted as different academic subjects?</p>
<p>Different subjects generally means a humanities teacher (English, history, foreign language) and science/math teacher.</p>
<p>Bio and chem are both sciences and thus not really different subjects for recommendation purposes…</p>
<p>They mean different subject areas. Two science subjects don’t do it. It doesn’t need to be humanities & science; it could be science & math or science and foreign languages, etc. Those are also considered different subject areas.</p>
