I was planning to take a class, Neurophysiology, next semester and I have fulfilled all of the prerequisites for the class but it is recommended to take cell biology. I do not need to take cell biology for my major. I am worried that if I do not take cell biology then I will end up being lost in the class. Will it be ok if I do not take the cell bio course or will I end up being lost?
Is there a reason you don’t want to take it? If it’s not a money or time problem, I’d say take it just in case, it can only help.
Talk to the professor and see what they think. Ask them how students who did not take cell bio do in the class. Or ask what text would be good if you need to look up cell bio info.
