<p>So this question isn’t for the actual Timlin55, but my friend, so the academic stats below are not consistent with the stats previously posted.</p>
<p>So my school offers unlimited Honors/AP courses to any student (if they do well enough in the average class), but only “Recommends” two of these courses to be taken per year. I took no honors courses sophomore year year because of a horrible freshman year, but ended up with four of these courses junior year. I would have taken near all AP but I thought I should not take way more than the two recommended. So my questions: </p>
<p>How can I tell UCLA that four high level courses is actually more than the school advises students to take?</p>
<p>Is four more or less than the UCLA average AP/Honors course load junior year?</p>
<p>How badly does no honors or AP classes sophomore year hurt me? </p>
<p>Also, please chance me for UCLA:</p>

UC GPA: Likely to be 3.85
W UC GPA: Likely to be around 4.35
SAT: I usually test higher than school, which averages 1920, so I would say about 2100
Mathematics II: 730
Biology : Likely to be int the mid-low 700’s, similar to my math grades
Household income of about $200,000
Out of State</p>

Worked at just an average minimum wage job (bagging groceries)</p>

Essay/Personal Statement: I usually write incredible essays, aside from freshman year my lowest essay grade was B+.
Recommendation: Average, I guess, it will be from a teacher </p>
