I am currently applying to NYU Tandon School of Engineering and I finished my part of the common application but for the recommendation section, my teacher had a question. It’s this: List the courses in which you have taught this student including the level of course difficulty (AP, IB, accelerated, honors, elective, 100-level, 200-level). My question is, I am US Citizen but I’m studying abroad under the British Curriculum doing my O and A Levels. I’m confused what the course of difficulty specifies. O Level stands for Ordinary Level and A Level is of two parts, one of AS and A2 which stand for Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level respectively. Do the names define the difficulty or is there something else my teacher has to indicate about the level of difficulty? Thanks
