Record Number of Applications at NU

Accepted means admitted.

Large universities typically consist of multiple colleges. Schools like Penn, Cornell, etc, are like this; it is not unique to NEU. They aren’t separate institutions, but rather different divisions within the school.

The College of Professional Studies is designed more for working professionals that don’t wish to take time off to go back to school, and doesn’t impact the typical NEU student much. The CPS isn’t unusual, even Harvard has some form of distance education through its extension program.

The only thing extremely different about Northeastern that you should look into is its co-op program. I’m not going to go much into detail about it; there should be enough information about it on its website.
