recording volunteer hours?

<p>hello. im attending cc rite now and am planning to transfer to UC schools.
this may be a ridiculous question…but do i have to get a signature from the supervisor every time i volunteer at some place? i used to do this when i was in high school…but this routine might frustrate the supervisor u know? :frowning: can i just keep a record to myself? (how many hours i did blah blah) </p>

<p>ex. if volunteering at st. jude hospital…?</p>

<p>I am not sure… I believe, however, that you don’t need signatures for each hour. Keep a record for yourself, and record the hours in the application as accurately as you can. Some people will be selected for “background checks.” If you will be one of those people, they will probably call the place you said you were volunteering at and ask them if what you specified in the application is true.</p>
