recruited at cal poly stanford (hypothetical)

so if i was being heavily recruited by these schools would i be admitted because im in athlete but my grades arnt like a normal student? do these schools have extra requirements then the ncaa minimum im just so confused on how all this works.

I know that Stanford does, but I don;t know anyone who was recruited at Cal Poly. The coach recruiting you would have the best information about what academic standards you will need to meet in your specific circumstance
