recruiting letter from Harvard, Columbia, Caltech

Does it mean anything to get a generic recruiting letter from Havard, Columbia, or Caltech? Do they send these out to students who have high SAT or PSAT?

I don't think it's anything significant. They basically send them out if you've reached a certain PSAT score.

Yep. They send thousands.

No. If you scored in a certain range for SAT, PSAT, or ACT and checked the box that said that colleges could send you information, then they will send you information.

It means they are trying to increase the number of applications they receive.
