Rec's for an iPad Case W/Keyboard

<p>Can’t live without my iPad! I have the original case I bought for it for over 2 years now. Do have a free standing keyboard I bought to use with it, but think I’d like to have one of the cases with a built in keyboard when you open it. Not too bulky but not too flimsy! If it’s available to order from Amazon, even better! Any recommendations on brands/styles you have that you like???</p>

<p>I recently saw one that has “back lit” keys! This is an awesome feature if you sometimes type where light isn’t too great.</p>

<p>When my D used an IPad at school I bought her a Zagg folio case. Several months later after she dropped it and the keys started coming off the keyboard Zagg quickly replaced the case, no questions asked. IIRC it was not cheap, around $100, but worth the price. </p>

Apple is supposedly coming out with a keyboard case, ( in May) I may wait to see what that looks like and stick with my blue tooth for now.</p>

<p>I’d rather not spend $100 on a case for an iPad 2 - but looks nice! Emerald, I wonder if the new Apple case will e suited to the newer iPads.</p>

<p>Thats interesting that Best buy lists the case as available, on the Zagg website, they are backordered.
I missed that the black one was $129, I was looking at another color that was $30 more, but it was available.</p>

<p>I personally love my iPad mini Belkin case that has a built in keyboard. Am sure they also have one for iPads. My webmaster has a separate Apple aluminum keyboard he prefers because it uses regular batteries you can replace. The reviews for Belkin were good. </p>

<p>I love my Logitech case/keyboard. iPad stays in magnetic strip when typing so acts like a computer. Snaps closed securely. Comes on when opened. I have used it both horizontally (usually) and vertically. It has lasted well and was worth the price. </p>

I had a logitech, but ipad slipped out too often, and it didn’t protect ipad at all, since the keyboard would slide off when bumped. When I got my ipad air, i bought a Zagg keyboard with backlit keys. It’s like a case, and makes the ipad air into a laptop, protected on all sides. The ipad pops out easily, if you want to pop it out, but I leave it in most of the time. It’s a bit heavy, but I wouldn’t trade it away for anything. Only issue I have is that I sometime have to turn the power off and then on again to get it to override the ipad air keyboard.
