Recs from Professors?

I am an EDI applicant to Hamilton College for 2017. I have (really) extensive ECs related to my major, anthropology. I don’t want to post them here becuase I could be identified fairly easily. PM me if you have any questions about them. My GPA and ACT (28) are low for Hamilton.

After corresponding two two profs in the Hamilton anthro department, they invited me to campus and after our awesome visit, both offered to write a recommendation letter for me. My admissions officer also knows me very, very well. How much will the letter help?

There is no way for anyone on CC to know this. It’s entirely school (and possibly dept) specific. It certainly won’t hurt. Is there some reason why you would even consider refusing this generous offer?

@M’s Mom: What do you mean refusing the generous offer? The admissions office has the prof’s letter, which I am very excited to have, I’m just wondering how much it would help, especially for ED.

Bump!! 10char
