<p>General Question about Recs- usually the sites post something like this (from the Yale site)</p>
<p>One recommendation must be from a teacher in an academic subject who knows you well. Your second recommendation may be from another teacher, or may come from your guidance counselor, academic advisor, student government advisor, vice-*principal, principal/headmaster, or adult mentor.</p>
<p>The first rec is pretty easy to determine. For the second one, however, is there more weight given to a second academic teacher since they put it first? Or should I ask my counselor to write my second rec for me?</p>
