By the deadline specified in the aplication time table: http://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/firstyear/freshmen_reqs_timetable.pdf

well, if they’re sent seperate from the common app, why would they be considered part of the app for reception purposes?

another Q: does anyone think being from ithaca will be beneficial to me, even on an unofficial way? say if i incorporate it into my essays?

well wouldn’t the admissions know that ur from Ithaca from looking at the location part in the beginning of the application? i would only talk about Ithaca, if the place has meant something special to u. other than that, it shouldn’t make much of a difference. if ur from ithaca high school, then i remember reading from another post that high school is a feeder school anwayys.

no, i live in FL. I’m FROM ithaca.

yeah, the place has a special meaning to me, it’s where i grew up

That won’t necessarily help you get in, but it will convince them you want to go there, which is also important. recs are done with common app forms, so they’re grouped with common app.
