so I really like this “someone who influenced you essay” that I wrote and want to use it for Yale also…do you think the admissions officers would think I originally wrote it for another school?

Generally, in this day and age when most students are applying to like ten schools on average, a recycled essay is just about expected, I assume, but for that extra special school (*Yale), make sure that that recycled essay is something spectacular. Remember, the essay isn’t about the school or how much you know about it; the essay is about YOU. The “Why Yale” section takes care of all the specifics on why you want to go to Yale…

Nothing wrong with recyclables. They make the earth greener and the air fresher. :)

i used Princeton’s prompt on “a person who has influenced you” for my Yale supplemental essay

recycled essays are fine, as long as you can make them really good (i liked what bozzyjudy said – “Nothing wrong with recyclables. They make the earth greener and the air fresher.”)

yeah the Princeton one is what I was going to use…thanks guys!
