Red Bull, Monster cause extreme aggression!!

I have seen kids demonstrate extremely aggressive behavior after drinking RED BULL, Monster and other high caffeine cocktails without the alcohol added!! Why haven’t parents, educators and students discussed this anywhere? Someone please comment on this. Kids are drinking these cocktails like crazy and getting crazy while the companies are raking in hundreds of millions!! Anyone else notice this???

I tried to play golf once after drinking a Red Bull on the 1st tee. By the middle of the second hole, my hands were shaking. It took about 5-6 more holes to wear off. It was my 1st and last Red Bull.

I don’t know about agressive behavior, but it certainly gave me a caffeine rush to the nth degree.

Kids are drinking 6 of these in a row without alcohol and no one is talking about this- if there is a rise in irrational behavior all I can say is HELLOOOOOOOOOO somebody take a look at this!!!

and some are drinking it with alcohol or as a chaser or in between - especially women!

Reader’s Digest just had an article about these ‘energy drinks’. I think a lot of the kids and young adults downing these drinks don’t realize the effect it can have on their bodies.

Have you noticed the new ads for ‘Pepsi Max’ and similar extra-caffeinated drinks? I guess they want in on the marketplace.

I have noticed, on occasion, that my children turn into crazed demons after too much caffeine. My 14 year old was acting really monstrous one night, and then I noticed two empty Starbucks coffee drink bottles on the kitchen table (a double dose). She noticed the effect too. She doesn’t argue with me now, much, when I caution her about too much caffeine, esp. in the evening. She knows what it can do. Take a tired kid and jack her up on caffeine and sugar and whoaaaaaaa baby . . .
