I am applying for a school fellowship in a Spanish speaking country. I need two references. For the first reference, I am asking a PoliSci professor I did research with. For the next reference, I am considering asking my Spanish professor because she could talk about my Spanish speaking ability or an advisor for one of my activities that is part of the department that runs the fellowship. I am a freshman so I do not know who to pick as I haven’t had a lot of time on campus to make very strong connections.
Common issue. Ask who you feel most connected too no matter how little. Provide a copy of your resume and unofficial transcript. Also it might be a conflict of interest for the activities advisor if they are involved in the admissions part of the fellowship.
