<p>So I have one of these scholarships…is joining the RCSA a good idea?</p>
<p>Also, I got it as a transfer student, and the weirdest thing is, I never actually applied, they just sent me some e-mail saying I’d won and I had to fill something out over snail mail to accept.</p>
<p>I don’t really understand why I got the scholarship considering the number of talented individuals who apply to Berkeley. It seems kind of random actually. The guy next to me who also applied with a 4.0 didn’t get in, so, I’m really clueless as to how they decide.</p>
<p>But back to the RCSA - anyone here belong? What do you think?</p>
<p>You already joined. Whether you go to events or not, that’s your decision.</p>
<p>RCSA people are a small handful of some of the best (many who seem similar are excluded) Berkeley people, and are selected for different reasons. Search the Berkeley website for information as to how they are selected.</p>
<p>Go to a few things, see if you like it, and if you like the people.</p>
