Regents

Which colleges look @ Regents?

Oh, and I took the Bio SAT 2 & got a 700

I believe SUNY schools do but private colleges and OOS schools don’t.

Does anyone know if Regents taken in 8th grade are looked at by colleges?

The regents are simply irrelevant. They once were actually measures of knowledge. Now they are simply methods to ensure that those getting credit in a class have learned at least a minimal level-and I mean that of students getting 100s on the regents. The 8th grade tests don’t provide any information to colleges. What could they possible be used for? One of my students earned a 100 on a January administration of the Math A test. Colleges may have taken notice of that score because it was earned in January of her 7th grade year. But beyond some exceptionally young high scorers-it says little. Well, I will add one caveat. The Regents scores can provide insight about the quality of a school if students with As in the class can 't score in the 90s on the corresponding Regents exam. That would be a very bad sign.
