Are we allowed to add classes to our schedule now? I logged into SSOL, and there’s an area to add classes. Do I add the classes I wish to take and then during orientation walk in and have them registered? Or… how does it work?

You register online or by phone exclusively (unless you are experiencing serious difficulties, in which case you take an add/drop form to the registrar with your advisor’s signature). As a first year, I don’t think you can register until during orientation. Within SSOL you should be able to click on “registration appointments and PIN”…then go to the drop down menu for “Select the term…”, hit “Fall 2006”, click “Update View” and a list of dates and times available for registration should come up.

icic, should i have a list of classes/teachers i would like to request when going in?

Again, you’re doing this online or over the phone, not “going in”, except in very special circumstances. You will hit “Registration” on SSOL on one of the given times, enter your PIN, and then imput classes. The way you do this is by call number, a six-digit code each class has. You can look them up on the Directory of Classes:
