<p>Can I switch a class that I was pre-enrolled in for the Spring semester with another section of the same class during the registration period, or do I have to wait for the add/drop period? If I could switch the section I would be able to enroll in the elective I would prefer.</p>
<p>probably not…there are soo many technicalities…</p>
<p>I don’t know how the new system works…but with the old coursenroll if you were a CALS student once you selected your courses and entered your PIN you weren’t allowed to make any changes until the add/drop period.</p>
<p>I think that you can change/rearrange your schedule as much as you want during the pre-enrollment period…at least, I’m pretty sure that’s what they told us at some meeting about how to pre-enroll. You might want to check with your advisor or something to make sure, though.</p>

<p>I’m a freshman so I don’t get to pre-enroll for a few more weeks. However, I have already been pre-assigned 3 required classes. Since I did not choose the time of these classes, can I switch to another section of the same class so that I can take an elective I want? Is pre-enrollment only for adding classes, or can you switch classes as well?</p>
