Registering For Courses

It’s almost time! When registration does start, tell us how you are doing with registering!

Did minerva just screw up for you guys? It did for me, although I did register for all my courses. however, i need to verify my fees and all that misc. stuff.

ahhh! the system is not working!

I am getting an error message saying that there are too many users. Any one else?

ah I finally was able to register for the fall…it took 23483920843 tries though. Still can’t do languages until later too…

is there sumthing rong with minerva again? cuz it wont load for me

I just don’t understand how to register. Oh well, let’s see what happens…

Registering has been going on for 3 days now, hopefully your classes are just general or alot of them will have been filled already.

can any other U0 post their respective schedules so I can get an idea about where I stand?
My Schedule:
Fall Semester: Biol111,Chem110,Phys101,Math150
Winter Semester: Biol112,Chem120,Phys102,Math151

wow to sup…3 sciences!

Fall: Chem110, Phys131, Math140, Math133
Winter: Chem120,Phys142, Math141, Envr203

I wish I had the balls to do all three sciences at once, but I need to get these engineering requirements out of the way.

lol. well, biol and phys should be fairly ez. Math will be hard. Chem average. I wasn’t man enough to take phys131/142 :P

well either way, good luck to you.

drmambo your never going to get your engineering requirements out of the way, the 4 year curriculum is ridiculously structered. Anyways, what is Envr203 about?

Hahahahaha. I’ve accepted the fact that I’m “doomed” to stay in Montreal for at least 4.5 years.

Here’s the Minerva description of ENVR 203:
Knowledge, Ethics and Environment. - ENVR 203 -

Introduction to cultural perspectives on the environment: the influence of culture and cognition on perceptions of the natural world; conflicts in orders of knowledge (models, taxonomies, paradigms, theories, cosmologies), ethics (moral values, frameworks, dilemmas), and law (formal and customary, rights and obligations) regarding political dimensions of critical environments, resource use, and technologies.

I’m not sure how it’ll be; it wasn’t really my first choice (I wanted to take The Anthropology of Meaning, or what ever), but it sounded like something interesting. Worst comes to worst I’ll take it pass/fail (s/u).

As to the engineering requirements: I hope to finish them up by the end of next year (I would’ve taken COMP 208 this year but I wasn’t confident enough in my calculus). I’m not talking about the major-requirements, I’m just talking about the broader program-requirements.

Can someone please help me refister a course? The only one i seem to find is last terms math13. I cant find chem 110 or 120

make sure you’re registering in the correct semester (fall or winter). sometimes it seems to default to summer.

ok i think i figured it out
