Adequately condensed in the title.
How would one go about with this? At my school they offer the AP exam that I’m currently studying for, is there some form of sign-up on the Internet or would it be better if I talked to a counselor perhaps around March?

talk to your counselor and tell them your plans…and yeah, in march would be fine…

I’m a bit worried about this too. What if my school doesn’t offer any AP exams, and neither does in school in my county?

I would find the closest AP coordinator and inquire about this.
For me, I plan to talk to my coordinator to allow me to write some self study AP’s. The AP’s in school, the exam is free.

I know my school orders all of their exams in February, so March might not be early enough, depending on your jurisdiction.

I would at least find out who you would order them from, and when they need to know now, so you know when your deadlines are.

I know at my school, the folks usually aren’t fully completed with their self-study by the deadline, but they at least know whether they’re far enough along or not.

aigiqinf, your counselor would probably know the closest place that does offer them. If not, you might want to get a hold of the AP folks themselves, and they might be able to direct you to someone. Check out the AP Central site for more info.
